Komyo Reiki Do

Komyo Reiki was born out of the desire of its founder, Rev. Hyakuten Inamoto, to bring the Reiki discipline back toward the traditional spirituality of Mikao Usui's original method, the style that comes closest to Hayashi Shiki Usui Reiki Ryoho, that is, what Master Hayashi, Usui's first student, handed down.

It is the system and practice of "keep it simple,” which is based on the Japanese saying "less is more," because simplicity is the key that leads to truth.

Komyo Reiki is a very intense personal experience, improves the mind and body, is a path to inner peace and a gateway to spiritual awakening.

Learning Komyo Reiki is divided into four levels: Shoden, Chuden, Okuden and Shinpiden.

First level (Shoden)
With first-level attunements, one accesses a material plane to help oneself. One learns self-treatment techniques for energy balancing and quick treatment for defined points.

Second level (Chuden)
With first-level harmonizations we still travel through the material plane, but unlike the first we learn how to help others. The three symbols for strengthening the power of Reiki Energy are taught, as well as learning techniques for guiding Energy even at a distance.

Third level (Okuden)
With third-level harmonizations we enter the spiritual plane for personal attainment of inner peace. We learn the last symbol, the Master, and new, more specific techniques.

Fourth level (Shinpiden)
Having completed one’s spiritual path, one becomes Komyo Reiki Teacher (teachers) and is ready to help others on their path.
