Martyn Pentecost's Celtic Reiki uses frequencies and vibrations of trees and plants and works in harmony with Celtic wisdom, it is in fact influenced by the energy techniques of the Celts, from whom it takes its name, and uses as symbols the ogamic characters, or Oghams an arboreal alphabet in which each letter is connected to a tree from which it takes its name.

Celtic Reiki combines the power of the universal life force with the energies connected to the earth and the natural world, the combination of energies of different vibrations, in fact, makes a treatment more effective.

In Celtic Reiki the Reiki Energy is channeled through the First Chakra, also called the Root Chakra and goes to the Crown Chakra, thus from the bottom up, unlike Usui Reiki which is channeled from the Crown Chakra and goes to the Root Chakra, thus from the top down.

This Reiki Style is not only used for healing, but is also used for manifestations of goals and to deal with daily problems such as lack of prosperity, finances, work and blocks on emotional relationships.

In Celtic Reiki there are three types of healing energies, the first type are the energies that come from the earth, the second type are what they call manifestation energies, and the third type of healing energies are in the energies of the master. All three of these energies are important. Different combinations can be used for different forms of healing.
