The word Hatha comes from Sanskrit and literally means the Union of the Sun (Ha) with the Moon (Tha) where the Sun stands for the masculine energy and the Moon for the feminine energy, the union therefore of Yin and Yang. It is in fact called the Yoga of the Sun and Moon, but also the Yoga of Strength.
The Hatha yoga postures, called Asanas, are very close to that ones of traditional Yoga although they are more challenging. However even beginners can approach it gradually. It is suitable for all ages, according to your feeling and physicality.
Hatha Yoga makes use of Asanas and techniques of relaxation, meditation and breathing. The practice of Hatha Yoga teaches that the body, mind and spirit are one, single and indivisible. The goal therefore of this practice is to keep them in balance.

Our Hatha Yoga Classes
Our Hatha Yoga classes consist of no more than eight to ten participants per class to allow for greater attention to correct posture while performing the postures.
Warm-up, intensive practice and relaxation with emphasis on breathing will take place during the class, so to prepare the physical body and energy structure for an ever-deepening practice that brings to a complete and lasting well-being and harmonization.
