It is a modality with a higher energy and vibrational level than other Reiki traditions, in fact, the word Imara means More.

Barton Wendel is the one who received the Imara channeling, later, with his brother Geoffrey, developed the information and protocols known today. He is considered as a level 5, where the Usui method goes from 1 to 3 and Karuna Reiki is considered a level 4.

It is a very intense energy that works particularly on karmic issues related to past lives, works on subconscious areas that affect our lives and unlocks old situations and repressed traumas. It also helps us connect with Spirit Guides, Angels and Ascended Masters and receive messages and visions from them.

It uses no symbols and has a simple system for both working at a distance and transmitting activations to others.

It can only be given to those who have already received a Reiki Master activation of the traditional Usui method, or a Master in Komyo Reiki, or even a Karuna Reiki Master.

Imara Reiki provides two levels: a Practitioner level and a Master level.
