Reiki Usui Method

"Shin Shin Kaizen Usui Reiki Ryoho” is the extended name of the traditional Japanese Reiki method devised by Master Mikao Usui.

At that time, however, there were other Reiki styles in Japan. Master Usui therefore did not ideate the name, but a healing method for everyone who, by becoming channels with specific energy activations, could self-heal or improve the mind and body of the recipient, thanks to the hands used as a tool.

Master Usui's Reiki is based on five principles:

In the West this method was transmitted by Master Hawayo Takata, a student of Dr. Cijiro Hayashi, the first to be activated to Reiki by Usui himself. To this day it remains the best known and most widely used method.

The Usui Method has three levels:

Primo livello
With the first level, the student is attuned or activated to the Reiki connection, that is, to Universal Energy, and can work for his own physical healing and that of others.

Second level
With the second level the student is harmonized or activated to a deeper level and can work on the emotional aspect, trauma, karmic issues and send Reiki at a distance. With this level one receives three Cosmic Symbols.

Third level
The third level is the level through which the student receives the fourth symbol, a spiritual symbol called the Master Symbol. The learner observes a transformation in his or her lifestyle, thinking and emotions, becomes more aware of Self and his or her connection with the Universe.

Fourth level
With the fourth level, the student will become a Master, learning techniques to harmonize future reikis. This level requires lengthy preparation that must be approached with commitment, humility and seriousness. The student will work alongside the Master in First, Second and Third level harmonizations, learn to conduct seminars, relate to students and set a good example of living based on Reiki principles.
